Improve valvetrain stability in a compatible rectangle-port LS engine with the Brian Tooley Racing LS3 Shaft Rocker Kit V2. This drop-in shaft system replaces the traditional single-bolt rocker mounting arrangement with rigid billet-steel stands, genuine 52100 bearing-steel shafts and pre-assembled BTR rocker bodies designed to reduce deflection while improving strength, durability and high-RPM capability.

- Reduced Valvetrain Deflection: The BTR shaft rocker system provides a more rigid mounting structure than the factory single-bolt rocker arrangement. Reducing valvetrain deflection helps maintain more consistent rocker motion while supporting improved performance and durability in demanding Gen III and Gen IV LS engine combinations.
- Pre-Assembled V2 Rocker System: The updated kit arrives pre-assembled with high-strength BTR rocker arm bodies, simplifying preparation for installation. Its revised V2 construction uses an updated shim design in place of the previous snap-ring arrangement for easier assembly and increased strength.
- Billet-Steel Stands and Bearing-Steel Shafts: Each cylinder head uses a billet-steel stand equipped with four shafts manufactured from genuine 52100 bearing steel. BTR selected steel after testing both aluminum and steel stand designs, providing a rigid foundation for the complete rocker assembly.
- Five-Fastener Rocker-Pair Mounting: Each pair of rocker arms is secured to the rocker stand with five fasteners rather than relying on the traditional single mounting bolt per rocker. This reinforced mounting arrangement helps control movement and distribute valvetrain loads across the shaft system.
- Stronger 1.7-Ratio Rocker Bodies: The drop-in 1.7-ratio BTR rocker bodies tested 46% stronger than stock Chevrolet rockers in FEA analysis. An extended-tip design supports higher valve lift and improved valve-tip durability, while superior moment of inertia compared with roller-tip rockers supports maximum-RPM capability.
