The BTR Equalizer 3 is the next evolution in Brian Tooley Racing’s line of low-profile, high-performing cast intake manifolds. Designed for square-port engine combinations targeting peak power between 6,000 and 8,000+ RPM, it combines an underslung plenum, profiled runners and a 102mm throttle opening with a lightweight two-piece construction that provides convenient access for porting.

- High-RPM Square-Port Performance: The Equalizer 3 is designed for naturally aspirated or boosted combinations seeking peak power between 6,000 and 8,000+ RPM. Its operating range is especially well suited to sub-4-inch-stroke applications with a properly engineered valvetrain and supporting components.
- Low-Profile Underslung Plenum: The underslung plenum design maximizes available hood and cowl clearance while supporting the intake’s high-RPM powerband. The compact profile clears F-Body cowls and can clear C5 cowls with minimal massaging to the intake.
- Performance-Focused Port and Throttle Design: CAD-generated construction and profiled port openings are engineered to provide strong out-of-the-box airflow. A profiled 102mm throttle bore supports compatible high-flow throttle-body configurations without sacrificing the manifold’s low-profile packaging.
- Injector and Sensor Integration: Steep-chamfer injector bores help guide fuel injectors into position while reducing the risk of damaging injector O-rings during insertion. The manifold includes a rear LS3 MAP sensor bore and one additional user-optional MAP sensor location.
- USA-Cast Two-Piece Construction: The manifold is cast in the USA from 319 aluminum and features O-ringed port openings and lid surfaces. Its two-piece design provides convenient internal access for porting, while ISO 9001:2015-certified machining and aircraft-standard roll-formed threads complete the assembly.
Notes
- Recommended FRK-01 fuel rail kit and LTBK or STBK throttle-cable brackets are optional and not included.
- LTBK is designed for a Lokar throttle cable; STBK is designed for a stock throttle cable.
