The Michigan Motorsports Gen V phaser install tool and 0-degree phaser limiter are designed for compatible L83, L86, L8B, and LT1 Variable Valve Timing applications. Gen V camshaft phasers automatically advance or retard camshaft timing according to engine RPM, but their broad operating range can limit piston-to-valve clearance when installing larger performance camshafts. The included 0-degree limiter restricts the phaser's available cam-timing movement, helping provide the valve clearance required for camshafts with increased duration and tighter lobe separation angles. The application-specific install tool supports the phaser-limiter installation on the compatible engines listed below.
