Simplify a compatible 4L80E transmission conversion with this Michigan Motorsports 4L60E-to-4L80E swap adapter harness. Designed for 1999-2006 and select 2007 vehicles originally equipped with a 4L60E or 4L65E transmission, this adapter works with applications that use a 13-pin transmission connector and have all 13 corresponding positions populated in the female factory-harness connector. The adapter provides a straight connection at the transmission, making it especially well suited for full-size truck and SUV applications with adequate transmission-tunnel clearance. Installation also requires connecting the included Input Speed Sensor wiring to the appropriate PCM connector positions and tuning the PCM for the 4L80E transmission.

Notes

• Not intended for 2007-2009 15-pin applications equipped with the external gear-select switch on the driver side of the transmission; a separate adapter is available for that configuration.
• Cars and midsize trucks or SUVs with limited transmission-tunnel clearance may require the separately available premium harness with a 90-degree transmission connector.
• Installation requires pinning the Input Speed Sensor wiring into the PCM connector and tuning the PCM for the 4L80E transmission.
