The Melling M295 Oil Pump is a direct stock-replacement solution for GM part number 12586665, delivering factory oil pressure and volume with improved resistance to cavitation at higher RPM. Designed for Gen III and Gen IV LS engines that do not use AFM or DOD systems, this pump is engineered with a CNC-machined, hardcoat anodized aluminum housing and a precision-machined cast iron cover for long-term reliability. With a factory volumetric flow rate of approximately 6.8 GPM, the M295 is an excellent choice for stock rebuilds, restorations, and mild performance applications requiring dependable OEM-style oil control.

MELLING M295 LS OIL PUMP GEN III
Easy install and great pump. Did the install with rotating the crank to help align pump and DONT FORGET TO PRIMER (PRE OIL) the pump before starting the motor! This ensures a healthy pump install.
