Rollmaster's Red Series CS1185 Timing Chain Set is a premium double roller timing set designed for high-performance and racing LS applications. Featuring a high strength, German made IWIS Pro Series double roller chain, billet nitrated steel sprockets, and a 9-keyway adjustable crank gear, this timing set delivers exceptional strength and precise timing.
The billet steel crank and cam sprockets are nitrated for increased wear resistance, while the Torrington thrust bearing helps reduce friction between the sprocket and camshaft retainer plate.
This kit also includes the required oil pump drive gear and oil pump spacers needed for installation. The timing cover will also need to be clearanced when using a double-roller timing chain set-up.

Installation Notes:
- Requires spacing the oil pump forward using the supplied spacers
- Requires minor grinding/clearancing of the factory timing cover for double roller chain clearance
- Not a direct replacement for factory single row timing sets
Compatibility:
- LS engines using 3-bolt camshafts and 24X crankshaft reluctor wheels which require a 1x camshaft signal. This sprocket works both with rear mounted camshaft position sensors (Gen 3 blocks), and timing cover mounted 1x Cam sensors (early LS2 and Envoy/Trailblazer 5.3L engines).
