Elevate the performance of your 5.7L Hemi with Brian Tooley Racing's Stage 2 camshaft. Whether you're navigating the trails in a Ram truck or dominating the asphalt in a Charger or Challenger, BTR's Gen 3 Hemi cam lineup is poised to meet your needs. This camshaft provides great drivability when tuned properly, while delivering impressive power gains across the usable RPM band. The Stage 2 is a great choice to improve the performance of your Mopar while performing an MDS delete. This camshaft will have a noticeable lope to it and work with the stock torque converter.
With this Stage 2 camshaft you can expect 490+ horsepower at the crank of your 5.7L hemi with supporting bolt-on mods. Gains are produced over the factory cam above 2300rpm, with a peak gain of 71 horsepower at 6,000rpm and continuing to pull strong past 6800rpm!
Note: An MDS delete will be required to install this or any other higher performance aftermarket camshaft. This camshaft will not work with MDS lifters. A 4-degree VVT limiter is required for proper piston to valve clearance (limiter block is included with the camshaft). PCM tuning will also be required.
Kit Options:
Valve Springs: For most applications, BTR's .625" SP021-16 Beehive spring kit (consisting of Mopar drop-in springs) works great and we include a new set of OEM style valve seals. For boosted applications, we offer the higher pressure SK017 Conical .650" spring kit as an upgrade option. This camshaft will not work with stock factory 5.7L valve springs.
Pushrods: Includes 11/32" diameter chromoly pushrods. The 6.775" Intake and 8.075" Exhaust pushrods in our kit options are the most common lengths needed when running Mopar Hellcat or similar lifters. Will not work for Johnson or other aftermarket race lifters.
This dyno test was conducted on a stock 2009+ 5.7L with truck intake manifold, spring upgrade, E85, and long-tubes.
