Reduce unwanted Dynamic Fuel Management cylinder deactivation in your compatible GM Global B vehicle with the BOOST DFM Disabler Module. This plug-and-play device connects through the OBD-II port and automatically activates within approximately three to five minutes of driving. Once active, it keeps the engine operating in V8 mode, including while coasting, without requiring a physical DFM lifter conversion or permanent ECM modification.

• Reduces DFM Deactivations by More Than 95%: The BOOST module automatically activates within approximately three to five minutes of driving and then keeps the engine in V8 mode throughout the remainder of the trip. It also prevents zero-cylinder operation while coasting once the module has activated.
• Designed to Reduce Repeated Lifter Activation: According to testing cited by BOOST, the factory DFM system can deactivate each cylinder more than 1,500 times during a 15-minute drive. Drastically reducing these operating cycles may help limit the repeated activation associated with sticking and collapsed DFM lifters.
• Brief Initial DFM Operation: The module allows the factory DFM components, lifters and oiling system to operate briefly at the beginning of each trip before activating. This design maintains periodic system operation while preventing DFM cylinder deactivation during the majority of normal driving.
• OBD-II Plug-and-Play Design: Unlike modules that connect at the engine control module, the BOOST Disabler installs directly into the vehicle’s OBD-II port. The convenient connection requires no permanent installation and allows the module to be removed easily before dealership service or diagnostics.
• Near-Zero Battery Draw and American-Made Construction: The newest BOOST DFM Disabler draws only 0.10 mA while the vehicle is off, representing a sevenfold reduction compared with the company’s first-generation module. Every BOOST disabler is designed and manufactured in the United States.

Notes

• For 2022 Silverado and Sierra applications, the 12th digit of the VIN must be “5” or higher.
• Does not support 2019-2022 Silverado and Sierra models with the 10-speed transmission or 2020 Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon models with the 10-speed transmission. Compatible earlier Global A vehicles require the separate Blue AFM/DFM Disabler, which also excludes 10-speed applications.
• Not designed for vehicles with physically removed DFM lifters; a physical DFM conversion requires proper ECM calibration using HP Tuners or an equivalent tuning solution. This module disables DFM only and does not disable the automatic start/stop system.
