Melling M29517 LS Oil Pump Pickup Tube O-Ring Kit
Fits 1997-2013 LS-Based 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L & 6.2L V8 Engines
Replace an aged or hardened oil pump pickup tube seal with the Melling M29517 O-ring kit. A deteriorated O-ring at the oil pump inlet can allow the pump to draw air past the pickup tube connection, contributing to low oil pressure in higher-mileage LS engines. This kit includes both O-ring styles used across the supported applications, along with instructions for identifying the correct seal.
