GM 12608835 Gen 4 LS Oil Pan Oil Pressure Relief Valve
Fits 2007-2013 LS Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L. 6.2L
The secondary oil pressure relief valve located inside the rear of the oil pan on Gen 4 LS engines is prone to becoming clogged by debris, causing low oil pressure conditions. It is a good idea to replace this valve any time the oil pan is off, particularly on higher mileage engines. We also have blockoff/delete plugs for this valve that can be used on engines without DOD/AFM and VVT systems (see recommended items sidebar).
Torque to 22lb-ft
