Non-AFM/DOD Valley Cover - Without PCV Provision - 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L 6.2L
This "L92" valley cover from Michigan Motorsports is a high quality replacement for the popular GM 12598832 valley covers which have skyrocketed in price in recent years. This cover will work on all Gen 4 LS based engine blocks, and is commonly used when doing a DOD/AFM delete as well as being the correct cover to use on engines which did not have DOD/AFM.
Includes: Valley Cover, Gasket, Oil Tower Seals, and Bolts
No PCV provision: Engines that originally had a PCV hose going to the valley cover can typically have it re-routed to an unused PCV port on one of the valve covers.
Fits the following engines when used with conventional (Non-DOD/AFM) lifters: LS2 LS3 L99 L92 L9H L94 L76 L77 LY6 L96 LY5 LMG LMF LH6 LC9 LY2 L20 LH8 LH9
Note: This cover can not be used with oil tower plugs that sit above the deck surface as they will interfere with each other. The seals built into this cover work well to seal off the DOD oil tower passages the same was that GM sealed them off on factory non-DOD engines, making plugging the block unnecessary .
