Michigan Motorsports LS9 Head Gaskets and 2005+ Bolt Kit
This kit includes two LS9 head gaskets (GM #12622033) and 2005+ style head bolts. Designed for durability and reliable sealing, these gaskets are a popular choice for high-performance LS builds.
Kit Includes:
- 2 LS9 Head Gaskets (best gasket to use on most LS builds)
- 2005+ Head Bolts (all shorter style design)
Note: Be sure to confirm which head bolts your engine requires, as GM used two different designs:
- 1997–2003 heads: QTY 8 – 155mm bolts, QTY 2 – 100mm bolts, QTY 5 – 45mm bolts
- 2005–2014 heads: QTY 10 – 100mm bolts, QTY 5 – 45mm bolts (this kit)

- LS9 MLS Performance Head Gaskets can also be used on 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L LS blocks
- 4.100" bore, .055" compressed thickness, 7-layer design
- Proven to be the preferred gasket for Turbo and Supercharged builds
- NOTE: On these engines it is highly recommended to clean out the head bolt threads in the block with a chaser such as ARP 912-0011 (click here) due to the thread compound that was used on the factory bolts. Failure to do so can result in new fasteners stretching or breaking before reaching final torque.
