Control harmful crankshaft harmonics in your street, performance or racing LS engine with the ATI 917266 Super Damper. Designed for compatible Corvettes, Pontiac G8 and Chevrolet SS models—as well as LS swaps using Y-body accessory-drive spacing—this rebuildable harmonic balancer combines an OEM-diameter 7.5-inch aluminum shell with a steel hub, 6-rib accessory drive and integrated 4-rib A/C pulley.

- Aluminum Shell with Steel Hub: ATI combines an aluminum outer shell with a steel hub to create a durable performance replacement for compatible factory harmonic balancers. It is an especially useful upgrade for C5 and C6 Corvettes, where aging OEM balancer shells are known to loosen from the hub.
- Exceeds SFI 18.1 Specifications: Built to exceed SFI 18.1 specifications, the ATI 917266 is suited for demanding street and track applications. Its tunable, rebuildable design allows the damper to be serviced and configured for efficient harmonic control across the RPM range.
- 360-Degree Timing Marks: Laser-engraved timing marks extend around the entire circumference of the damper, providing a clear crankshaft-position reference during engine setup and diagnostics. A black zinc chromate finish completes the performance-focused ATI Super Damper assembly.
Notes
- Will not fit LS7 engines or dry-sump versions of the LS3, including manual-transmission Grand Sport Corvette and Z06 applications.
- Designed for applications using Y-body accessory-drive spacing.
