Important Installation Notes
- Non-DOD Camshaft Recommended: When performing an AFM/DOD conversion, the original camshaft should be replaced with a non-DOD camshaft to help avoid potential misfires.
- 6.2L Camshaft Recommendation: For 6.2L applications with or without VVT, GM camshaft 12626660 is recommended for a stock-style non-DOD replacement option.
- Performance Camshaft Options: Michigan Motorsports also offers a wide variety of Brian Tooley Racing and Texas Speed camshafts for customers who want to increase performance during the AFM/DOD conversion.
- ECU Calibration Required: The DOD/AFM system must be turned off in the vehicle’s computer.
- Lifter Warranty Note: No manufacturer warranty on lifters.
