Specs: 225/236 .525"/.525" 110 LSA, 3 Bolt Pattern
Michigan Motorsports' ASA Camshaft is a high quality USA-made alternative to the GM 88958770 camshaft which has skyrocketed in price over the years. This camshaft shares all the exact specs with the popular GM ASA camshaft used in the ASA LS1 racing program and also found in the 525hp GM LS3 crate engines, proving it's worthiness in both Cathedral Port and Rectangle Port head applications. With 10.5 degrees of overlap, this camshaft has an aggressive idle sound while still being suitable for daily driver use with an appropriate torque converter or in manual transmission applications. For 4.8L/5.3L applications a 3400+rpm stall converter is recommended, while 6.0L/6.2L applications would be well suited with a 3000+rpm stall.
The ASA camshaft is designed to be compatible with LS6 style beehive valve springs which reuse the factory retainers and locks. This makes for a budget-friendly combination, and the mild spring pressures combined with these lobe profiles is also easy on valvetrain parts, making them ideal for vehicles that rack up a lot of street miles.

Please note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete kit
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be required
