    ARP and Stock Replacement Fasteners

    Stock fasteners on Gen 3, 4, 5 engines are torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. When these fasteners are remove they should not be reused. These fasteners are adequate for most stock replacement applications. 

    ARP fasteners are multi use and are substantially stronger than stock fasteners.  ARP fasteners are recommended to use in performance and show applications.   ARP manufactures fasteners in the USA from a wide assortment of materials ranging from popular stainless steel and 8740 chrome moly to exotic alloys.
