Reduce DFM Cylinder Deactivations By 95%+
Based on official testing from GM, the DFM system deactivates cylinders over 1,500 times per cylinder in a short 15-minute drive — operating with less than all 8 cylinders approx. 60% of the time.
The Boost DFM Disabler automatically activates within 3-5 minutes of driving and keeps your truck in V8 mode 100% of the time once it activates, even disabling zero-cylinder mode while coasting.

While this device prevents DFM from engaging during regular driving, it still allows your engine’s components — including lifters and oiling systems — to activate briefly at the beginning of each trip. This design helps keep everything lubricated and functioning properly, avoiding concerns of sticky oil from long-term inactivity.

For any vehicles with DFM that are part of the Global A platform, ie. pre-2022.5 trucks and pre-2021 SUVs please see our Blue AFM/DFM Disabler which is compatible with these models excluding 10-speed transmission.
The Boost Disabler is not designed to be used on vehicles that have had the DFM lifters physically deleted. When performing a physical DFM Delete the ECM must be properly tuned via HP Tuners or equivalent programmer.
