The Michigan Motorsports IWIS LS Timing Chain Kit is a premium timing upgrade for 2007–2013 LS-based engines and can also be used on many Gen III 1997–2006 LS engines where the cam sensor is located at the rear of the block. This kit features the renowned IWIS single roller timing chain, widely considered the highest quality timing chain available for LS engines. Included is a 3-bolt 4-pole (58X) cam sprocket for camshaft conversions, a lower crankshaft timing gear, and high-strength ARP cam bolts to provide secure and reliable installation. Notes & Installation Information
- Crank sprocket is a stock replacement gear for most LS engines except LS7 and LS9.
- 3-bolt cam sprocket is used when converting from a factory 1-bolt camshaft to a 3-bolt camshaft setup.
- This kit can also be used on Gen III 1997–2006 LS engines since the camshaft position sensor is located at the rear of the block.
