Upgrade the weak factory plastic oil diverter barbell with this precision-machined billet aluminum replacement designed to dramatically improve oil system integrity and engine protection. The OEM plastic barbell can allow excessive clearance—approximately .020” too loose—permitting contaminants as large as 500 microns to bypass filtration and flow directly to critical engine components.
This billet aluminum version is engineered with approximately .001” clearance, limiting particle bypass to roughly 20–25 microns—matching the filtration range of most quality oil filters. That means cleaner oil reaching your cam bearings, lifters, crankshaft, and rod bearings. Combined with improved flow characteristics and service-friendly design, this is a must-have reliability upgrade for any serious LS build.

Its machined right to spec so it has to line up perfectly but give a really nice fit and with the good seal im confident of great oil pressure for miles to come

The first one I ordered was too tight and did not fit, I reached out to technical support and explained the issue and included the I.D. measurement of the oil gallery in my block and (free of charge) Michigan Motorsports sent me a new one specifically for my engine.
