This "6.2L" version of Texas Speed's popular Chopacabra camshaft has been optimized for Rectangle Port head versions of the 2007-Later 6.0L and 6.2L LS Truck/SUV engines. If you're after max chop, max attitude, and max street presence while still needing to keep things daily driver and stock torque converter friendly, this new version of the legendary Chopacabra camshaft delivers all that and more. Designed to bring out the lope and sound that make LS builds come alive, this camshaft combines aggressive overlap with strong midrange gains — all without going overboard on lift. With proper tuning this camshaft will work well with the stock torque converter in 6.0L and 6.2L applications, though a higher stall converter will improve performance off the line.
Due to the heavier valves in these engines, this kit includes the Texas Speed .625" Beehive Valve Springs (Part # TSP-VS2225-16) in the kit options rather than the LS6 springs used in cathedral port kits.

Gasket Kit Option: Includes Timing Cover Gasket, Water Pump Gaskets, Front Crankshaft Seal, and a new Crankshaft Balancer Bolt
Please note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
