Fits 2014-2020 LT1 L83 L86 L8B Engines (8th Digit of VIN = C, J, R or 7)
The VLOM (Valve Lifter Oil Manifold) is critical to the proper operation of the DOD/AFM cylinder deactivation system used on 5.3L and 6.2L GM engines. Electrical issues, worn solenoids or leaks in the VLOM can cause uncommanded deactivation of cylinders and lifter failure. Not replacing the VLOM when replacing collapsed lifters can also often result in the new lifters failing in a short period of time. Due to how critical this part is and the frequent failures seen with aftermarket replacements, we recommend only using a Genuine GM VLOM when repairing your engine. Only Genuine GM Parts are tested to meet GM Original Equipment standards and are designed specifically to fit your vehicle.
