Deatschwerks dw 400
1999 silverado 2500 6.0ltr lq4 with engine mods , thanks to MM ! After the engine build the engine was a bit hard to start . check fuel pressure and it was low . installed a deatschwerks pressure regulator , no change . decided on the high dollar dw 400 because Deatschwerks built it and MM sells them . This is the 3rd fuel pump in this truck in the last 60k miles. done with the junk pumps ! This pump took care of the hard start , it has a Bosch pump and has a nice sound when the key is on. I would advise going to the ground on the frame and removing the ground strap and clean the ground location . these trucks are known for needing all the chassis grounds inspected .
