Mahle's 54445 Multi-Layer Steel Head Gaskets are specifically designed for the 1999-2007-earlier 6.0L GM truck/SUV engines, including models that have a "notch" in the cylinder head deck which prevents them from sealing with a conventional MLS gaskets. These gaskets can also be used on the later heads that do not have the notch. If you are unsure whether your heads have the notch or not, these are the ideal gasket to get since they will work on both styles of heads. This high quality, 3 layer Multi Layer Steel head gasket is stronger and more reliable than graphite/paper gaskets.
- Fits 6.0L LS-Based engines Only.
- .050" compressed thickness (matches stock thickness).
- Suitable for use on "Notched" head castings.
- Will also work on heads without the notched decks.
