Stock Replacement Cylinder Head Bolts
The Michigan Motorsports LS 1997–2003 Head Bolt Kit includes a complete set of stock-replacement torque-to-yield cylinder head bolts for both heads (1 complete engine). Manufactured to the same specifications as GM #12498545, these Gen-3 style bolts ensure proper clamping force and durability for LS1, LS6, LQ4, LQ9, LM7, and LR4 engines. Note: Torque-to-yield bolts must be replaced after use since they stretch when torqued.
Compatibility:
These bolts follow the Gen-3 design (1997–2003) which uses three different bolt lengths. Be sure to confirm your application, as GM transitioned to a new design in mid-2004.
Bolt Specifications:
- 1997–2003 Heads: 8 × 155mm bolts, 2 × 100mm bolts, 5 × 45mm bolts
- 2004–2014 Heads: 10 × 100mm bolts, 5 × 45mm bolts (not included in this kit)
