    Michigan Motorsports Cam Thrust Retainer Plate for LS Engines using Flanged Hex Head Bolts

    Upgrade your LS build with the Michigan Motorsports Cam Thrust Retainer Plate, designed for Gen III, IV, and V LS engines using flanged hex head bolts. This retainer plate is a direct replacement for GM part number 12589016 and comes complete with a premium gasket featuring an impregnated silicone seal for maximum reliability and proper sealing. Built for durability and precision, this plate ensures consistent camshaft retention, making it a must-have for performance builds and engine refreshes alike.

    Compatibility:

    • Fits Gen III, IV, and V LS engines: 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, LSX, LS1, LQ4, LQ9, LS2, LS3
    • Direct replacement for GM part number 12589016
    • For use with flanged hex head bolts only
    • Will not work with countersunk Torx bolts (commonly used on 2005+ engines)
    • Not compatible with VVT cam phaser sprockets

      Cover plate seal profile will provide proper sealant of oil galleys up front as OEM did.
