Brian Tooley Racing designed this BTR-LS400+TRUCKLL camshaft for use in LS-Based 400"-416" C.I. truck applications. This cam was designed with moderate valve lift numbers to extend valvetrain durability and valve spring life for vehicles that rack up a lot of street miles, as well as allowing the use of a more economical spring kit.
This camshaft is ideal for daily driving and light-duty towing, and will work with most stock converters. A 2800+rpm stall will really wake things up off the line in non-towing applications. Recommended compression ratio of 10.5:1 or less for use with pump gas. Developed from hundreds of hours of in-house cam lobe design and Spintron testing, this camshaft offers the reliability and durability you have come to expect from BTR.
This listing includes the stiffer BTR SK018 .625" beehive valve springs in the kit options. These higher-rate springs are recommended for 2007-Later 6.0L and 6.2L engines with the rectangle/square port heads due to the heavier valves used in those engines. These kits can also be used on earlier 6.0L engines or 4.8L/5.3L engines if you want higher pressure springs than the ones in the standard low lift kit.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include the following:
Camshaft only: BTR 400+" Low Lift LS Truck Stroker Camshaft by itself.
Camshaft, Springs & Seals: BTR 400+" Low Lift LS Truck Stroker Cam, BTR SK018 .625" Beehive Springs with Valve Seals and Spring Locators.
