Secure the cylinder heads on a compatible early GM LS engine with the ARP 234-4344 Pro Series ARP2000 head stud kit. Designed for the 2003-and-earlier LS head-bolt configuration, this application uses eight 155mm and two 100mm main head bolts per bank, along with five 45mm bolts. The ARP2000 studs provide increased strength compared with standard ARP head studs and are cold-forged to support molecular integrity. They are heat-treated before thread rolling and machining, while the included hardened parallel washers promote even load distribution and accurate torque readings.

- Early-style 1997-2003 heads use QTY 8 155mm bolts, QTY 2 100mm bolts and QTY 5 45mm bolts.
- Later-style 2003-2014 heads use QTY 10 100mm bolts and QTY 5 45mm bolts and require the corresponding later-style head stud kit.
- Because 2003 appears within both supplied year ranges, identify the correct kit by the existing head-bolt quantities and lengths.
