The Stage 2 Burnout Camshaft from Michigan Motorsports is a great choice for a wide variety of LS based builds from 4.8L to 6.2L. In 4.8L and 5.3L engines this camshaft start to lean towards the aggressive side for a daily driver, requiring a 3200+rpm stall torque converter and pulling strong to 7,000rpm. In larger 6.0L/6.2L applications this will be a great hot-street camshaft, having good drivability while still carrying a notable idle sound with 8.5 degrees of overlap, and a strong powerband through the midrange.
Michigan Motorsports' Burnout line of camshafts was designed with moderate lift .600" lobes, putting less stress on the valvetrain during extended high RPM and rev limiter action compared to higher lift cams, while still making great power gains over lower lift "Truck" grinds. Whether you're roasting tires at the burnout pad or building a street car that turns heads at every stoplight, these camshaft are tuned for real-world performance, competition-level reliability, and unapologetic sound.

- Camshaft with Spring Kit, Titanium Retainers, and Pushrods: Michigan Motorsports Stage 2 LS Burnout Camshaft, Polished .660" Dual Valve Spring Kit (Titanium Retainers, Valve Seals w/ Integrated Spring Locators, & Valve Keeper Locks) and 7.400" x 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods.
- Gasket Kit: (1) Front Timing Cover Gasket, (2) Water Pump Gaskets, (1) Front Crankshaft Seal and (1) Crank Bolt.
Please Note:
- VVT engines will require a VVT Delete Kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 1-Bolt to 3-Bolt Conversion kit will be required.
- The installation of aftermarket camshafts will require a non-DOD/AFM Lifter Conversion on engines equipped with DOD/AFM systems.
