This camshaft is meant for AFM deleted vehicles

This Gen V Stage 1 NA cam will make great power gains in any Chevrolet Gen V engine application. The 5.3 (l83) Gen V applications have a tighter window for PTV and it is advised that the installer checks this. We have several trucks running this grind, but the window for PTV is very, very tight in those! It's lobe design is very easy on valvetrain components. You will need to delete your AFM/DOD when installing this camshaft. A torque converter change may be needed in some L83 (5.3) applications. LT1 applications can use the OEM torque converter. We advise consulting the tuner that will be handling the calibration. Phaser limiter or lockout needed as well.
