Originally developed for LS3 engines, in testing we have found the new Stage 5 to also work exceptionally well on cathedral port engines. The newest offering in BTR's naturally aspirated lineup, the Stage 5 is designed for the high RPM naturally aspirated guys as well as those that like to open the nitrous bottle on occasion. The Stage 5 sacrifices some low rpm torque while on a mission to make max peak power. It is not uncommon to see 460+whp with proper supporting mods including a quality set of cylinder heads. Lobes designed in house by BTR! For proper piston-to-valve clearance on stock bottom end applications, you cannot mill your cylinder heads without the possibility of needing to flycut your pistons. A 3200+rpm converter is a necessity for automatic applications.
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required.

Spring Kit With Steel Retainers and Pushrods: BTR Stage 5 cam plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods, 7.400" long with .080" wall
Spring Kit With Titanium Retainers and Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt
